Biography:
Treading the boards since age six, there has been very little time in Rachel's life when she hasn't called the theatre "home".
Rachel is a Midwest-based actor who specializes in classical text. She (along with her partner, Mitch, and her darling cat, Emilia) currently lives in Wisconsin. Rachel has performed on stages anywhere between Green Bay to Chicago.
Starting her training young, Rachel attended the Renaissance School for the Arts and participated in The Summer Shakespeare Theatre Consortium all throughout high school. Upon graduating, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where she majored in Theatre Arts with a Performance Emphasis.
Her creative work doesn't just lend itself to performance. Her attention to detail and constant drive prove advantageous to directing and teaching. Rachel interned with First Stage in Milwaukee, as well as returned to her roots to assist with the Summer Shakespeare program. She also directed several week long theatre arts summer camps in the Fox Valley. In her spare time, Rachel creates promotional videos; assisting theatres with their social media presence.
In 2019, Rachel helped to cofound The Furies, a passion project dedicated to bringing accessibility, inclusion, and ferocious honesty through theatre to her community.
